Job Description

This position is responsible for leading and managing strategic initiatives that support Prestige Portraits, the market leader in senior portrait photography in the US and Canada. Your skills and experience in the area of brand and product management combined with your business acumen, attention to detail and high energy will make an impact in this growing business line of Lifetouch. Work will span the entire product and program lifecycle, from new product innovation and white space opportunities to ongoing product improvement and maintenance.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Oversees program execution and analysis with minimal direction from marketing manager or director

  • Assist/own the development of business plans and strategic  identifying objectives, strategies, key initiatives and performance measurements by using insights collected from situation assessment, marketplace information, etc. in order to support portfolio and brand growth targets
  • Lead cross-functional projects in order to deliver business line objectives
  • Manage relationships with third party vendors, suppliers and partners as necessary
  • Write and present creative briefs that clearly articulate communication objectives and criteria in order to inform and direct agency work and creative development for effective execution in the areas of marketing programs and product development
  • Assist marketing manager and director with overarching segment brand positioning and communication strategy
  • Interpret business results, metrics and research and use to provide meaningful brand and product recommendations
  • Identify segment data needs and communicate areas of opportunity to data analytics partners
  • Assess untapped opportunities in order to identify new volume and profit growth areas (e.g., product adjacencies, merchandise categories, new channels of distribution)
  • Determine financial attractiveness of new growth areas in order to prioritize allocation of resources to these opportunities

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related business degree required; MBA preferred.

Experience

  • Five or more years of experience in consumer marketing/product marketing, advertising, public relations, or business communication on either the client or agency side.

  • Understanding and ability to apply basic financial concepts (e.g., revenue, cost).

  • Ability to interpret consumer trends in order to design, create or evaluate new products and merchandising opportunities

  • Ability to travel up to 10%
