Job Description

Provides professional support for the implementation, administration, management, and evaluation of all phases of the benefits programs or plans.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handles moderately complex assignments associated with the benefits function
  • Supports the implementation of benefit plans
  • Supports the day-to day administration of benefit and leave programs
  • Analyzes and develops benefit plans and policies
  • Determines and maintains equity of current benefits compared to marketplace trends and legislative requirements


Additional Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs other projects or miscellaneous duties as requested or assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources or equivalent experience
  • Functional certifications preferred


  • 2 to 5 years performing a variety of human resource functions in at least one specific area such as compensation, benefits, HRIS, training, employee relations, and talent acquisition


Other (knowledge, skills, and abilities):

  • In-depth knowledge of human resource functions including, benefits, leave of absence, HRIS, and payroll, along with evolving technologies, and best practices
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Workday experience preferred
