Lifetouch Inc., the world's largest employee-owned photography company, has built a reputation of excellence and innovation, and is seeking a non-exempt Equipment Systems & Support (E.S.S.) Camera Repair Specialist to join our team in Burnsville, MN.

 

Job Description:

The ESS Camera Repair Specialist operates under the direct supervision of the Camera Assembly Group Lead.  They perform repairs, updates and inspections on all cameras.  Camera Repair Specialist guarantees that each camera is in perfect operational condition before going to test.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Verify that all repairs are completed as called for on H.L.S. Measured by the number of times a camera is returned for the same repair.
  • Completes updates to fullest level at the time the camera is in for repair or update. Measured by requiring only time to do latest updates and not playing catch up on previous updates.
  • Adjust cameras to meet or exceed all specifications before sending to test. Measured by the number of times cameras are returned from test for miss adjustments.
  • Examine cameras for any damage or potential damage that is not called for on the H.L.S. or other documentation. Measured by number of defects caught during exam.
  • Be aware of any abnormalities in the camera.
  • Work closely with camera assembly lead person to keep him aware of any repetitive problem and potential problem that might be building within cameras.
  • Work with camera assembly lead person to insure all check lists, repair lists, and update lists and procedures are up to date.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • High school diploma.

 

Other (knowledge, skills, and abilities):

  • Dedication to building defect free camera.
  • Good mechanical ability.
  • Ability to diagnose camera problem and repair as required.
  • Ability to communicate a problem with a camera to technicians and engineering personnel.
  • Must be willing to work short notice overtime.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours.

Please be prepared to share expected hourly wage.
