Job Description

This position will be a highly valued member of the Lifetouch National Schools Studios finance team, supporting our field/territory operations across the US and Canada.  This role will be responsible for reporting territory performance, forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis. The individual will have a high level of visibility throughout the organization and will frequently interact with various levels of management.  We are looking for a strong business partner that can provide financial insights and use good business judgement.   

 Budgeting/Forecasting

  • Assist in compilation, review and analysis of annual field budgets as well as periodic forecasts.
  • Review monthly operating results, including necessary follow-up with field management on variances to plan and last year.
  • Prepare analytical review of direct operating expenses.
  • Prepare, review, summarize, and distribute accurate field financial data in support of related budgets and projections.

 Business Partnering and Financial Analysis

  • Establish strong relationships with the Field Operations and Execution team and territory managementbecoming a trusted business partner
  • Develop comparative metrics of key financial and operating data to assist management in the evaluation of performance.
  • Interpret operating results and metrics on a timely basis and assist in identifying specific actions which will result in improved profitability.
  • Prepare analyses to assess impacts of potential business changes with field operating results.
  • Perform other assigned financial analysis and other special projects as assigned

Field Payroll Support/Analysis    

  • Collaborate with regional leadership on payroll performance and maximizing efficiency; consults on corrective action as appropriate
  • Monitor field payroll costs through comparison to budget and detailed analytical review of hours and dollars by key job functions (e.g. photography).
  • Perform comprehensive review of territories at a detailed level to identify resource management opportunities

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • CPA certification preferred

 Experience:

  • A minimum of 4-6 years general accounting and or finance experience.
