Job Description

Provides nonexempt, mid-level administrative support to the IT support technician function.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs mid-level support for the IT support technician function
  • Provides onsite technical support to the organization’s internal users of computer applications and hardware (e.g., PCs, servers, mainframes)
  • Collaborates with network services, software systems engineering and/or application development in order to restore service and/or identify problems
  • Resolves issues referred by help desk support
  • Researches, isolates, resolves, and follows up on more complex problems and issues

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs other projects or miscellaneous duties as requested or assigned

Education

  • Completion of vocational/technical training program or equivalent experience

Experience

  • 2 to 5 years in specific IT support area

Skills

  • Broader knowledge of Lifetouch policies, procedures, standards, and accepted practices
  • Ability to respond to routine problems of a more complex nature and communicate standard resolutions
