Job Description

The Center of Excellence Team is created to strengthen the long term relationship between LCD and the Host.  The team will partner with the sales representative, assisting in gaining market share through prospecting activities.  When an agreement is signed they will develop an on-going relationship of support with the Host.  The Marketing and Event Coordinator will make outgoing prospecting phone calls enlisting current marketing initiatives, set appointments for assigned Sales Reps and maintain assigned databases.  They will maintain contact with the Host throughout the duration of the program, ensuring a successful outcome.  They will process incoming leads and work closely with the Sales Rep and Host.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Adapt prospecting methodology to reflect the current marketing initiatives
  • Conduct prospecting phone calls to host customers
  • Schedule, confirm and reschedule appointments with host in coordination with assigned Sales Rep
  • Process incoming leads generated through the internet, phone calls, email marketing, direct mail, print ads, conferences, etc.
  • Verify, update and maintain assigned databases
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with both Field Sales and Host
  • Maintain relationship with Host by providing ongoing contact during and after photography event
  • Contact Host to insure event requirements and deadlines are being met
  • Adhere to the LCD Center of Excellence Standards
  • Identify and report when a fellow employee does not meet the LCD Center of Excellence Standards
  • Attend requested conference calls, webinars, and training sessions
  • Perform related duties as assigned

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • 1 to 2 years sales and/or customer account service related support
  • Experience with computerized customer tracking systems or equivalent computer experience

Skills

  • Strong sales and verbal and written communication skills
  • Passionate about creating a successful event
  • Ability to build relationships over the telephone
  • Program, product and service knowledge
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Competent in Salesforce.com; Excel, Word, ACT, LCD
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
