Job Description

The Manager of Shared Services is responsible for the overall management of the centralized consolidated Accounts Payable and P-Card Administration functions for Lifetouch. This position will manage the activities the functions and will be responsible for providing reliable accounting services to the enterprise.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identifies cross-divisional synergies, as well as, internal and external best practices that can be utilized to continually improve the effectiveness of accounting processes within Lifetouch.
  • Continually improves service and productivity.
  • Evaluates technological improvements to service areas to determine if financially viable.
  • Manages projects including process reengineering, software implementation, and act as liaison between IS resources and service areas.
  • Develops metrics for tracking services performance and measure against benchmarks.
  • Determines objectives and actions plans to continually improve and streamline operations, and execute accordingly.
  • Determines methodology for collecting and monitoring feedback from divisions to ensure excellent, cost efficient service.
  • Develops reliable accounting and interface systems and maximize the use of beneficial software features.
  • Develops optimal organizational structure and infrastructure for centralized accounting operations.
  • Aligns functional leadership into roles that best fit their strengths, and develop them to continuously improve in their positions.
  • Works with financial management team to understand business needs and impacts on or from accounting operational services.
  • Oversees and participates in the development of accounting policies related to shared services.
  • Installs, documents and maintains reliable internal controls in all accounting processes.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs other projects or miscellaneous duties as requested or assigned



  • Bachelor’s Degree with accounting or finance concentration or equivalent experience
  • CPA preferred
  • MBA preferred


  • 10 or more years in accounting and financial analysis
  • 3 or more years of management experience
  • 2 to 4 years public accounting (Big 4) experience preferred
