An internship at Lifetouch provides a challenging and rewarding on-the-job experience in a highly collaborative work environment. We have multiple internship positions available in the realm of marketing, and welcome applicants to articulate in a cover letter which area best aligns with their skill set and interests.

Marketing internship positions include:

  • Underclass Product Marketing
    • Conduct competitive analysis and perform market research specific to digital products, photo gifts and yearbook enhancements
    • Coordinate collection of feedback from field user groups to assess fit, function and relevance of new product in order to provide recommendations for future application
    • Assist with creation of new product development process and methodology for evaluating/testing new ideas
    • Work with subject matter experts to develop strategy for next generation yearbook program offering


  • Underclass Host Marketing (Business to Business)
    • Assist in planning and executing lead generation and account retention campaigns,including traditional print, email, social and inbound marketing campaigns
    • Assist in developing collateral to aid the sales organization in delivering key value messages to schools and the educational community
    • Organize and communicate available field resources to enable sales


  • Underclass Consumer Experience Marketing (Business to Consumer)
    • Evaluate consumer-facing communication channels and critical client touch-points and make recommendations to improve campaign cohesiveness, simplicity of messaging and representation of brand
    • Assist with website research, planning and strategy for a better mobile customer experience
    • Research customer loyalty programs and provide recommendations to evolve increased awareness and enrollment in Lifetouch loyalty program


    • Develop new tactics to acquire first-time customers for long-term engagement
    • Research customer loyalty programs and provide recommendations to evolve increased awareness and enrollment in Lifetouch loyalty program
  • Prestige Senior Photography Marketing (Digital focus)
    • Conduct analysis of both product and promotions to assist in strategy planning.
    • Evaluate various client touch points (i.e. emails, direct mail, etc.) and make recommendations to improve campaign cohesiveness, simplicity of messaging and representation of brand.
    • Assist with the evaluation and testing of the onsite user experience of and to ensure a streamlined user flow.
  • Preschool Photography Marketing
    • Compile and summarize customer data and program results.
    • Present trends and provide recommendations for the upcoming campaign season/year

  • Work with a mentor and professionals across the organization to gain direct and relevant experience in your area of study

  • Junior or Senior student currently enrolled in a related field of study at an accredited educational institution
  • Effective information processing & comprehension abilities
  • Creative visualization, critical thinking, strategic reasoning skills
  • Ability to collaborate and perform as a member of a team
  • Capacity to learn quickly, effectively manage time and work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Demonstrated commitment to development of superior communication skills (written, interpersonal and presentation)
  • Experience with Microsoft programs; familiarity with Google-based systems is a plus
  • Proficient and active in social media channels; ability to interact in the space immediately
  • Strong understanding and coursework in customer analytics, marketing analytics, digital analytics, and market research
  • Comfort with Microsoft Excel
  • Previous internship experience preferred
