Lifetouch has a dynamic opportunity for an experienced Production Artist to join our successful organization as a key contributor. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accurate delivery of design files to internal and external production vendors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and problem solve as necessary
  • Understand technical design requirements for the manufacturing of yearbooks and the PrintShop (banners, posters, decals, etc)
  • Review design files to ensure they meet technical requirements for production
  • Must be capable of versioning, organizing, re-formatting and structuring design files
  • Ability to troubleshoot problematic design files  
  • Collaborate with Graphic Designers to ensure concepts comply with brand standard and meet creative intent and expectations
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite


  • Experience in designing for publishing embellishment and applications such as foil stamping, silkscreen, embossing/debossing, die cuts and lamination.
  • Strong project management, time management and organization skills with a proven ability to balance and execute against multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment but also excels at working independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally
  • Strong attention to detail and proven ability to problem solve
  • Willingness to be flexible with tasks on a day to day basis and evolve role as required by the needs of the team


  • 4 year degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 - 5 years experience
