Job Summary

 This position is responsible for sales planning, forecasting and analysis for Lifetouch Church Directories and Portraits. This position will also provide sales and selling expense analysis and operational reporting on a daily/weekly/monthly basis, participate in the annual financial planning cycles, as well as provide monthly and quarterly financial forecasts.

 Primary Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Preparation and distribution of key performance indicator reporting, including the Flash report, field sales reporting, and other field performance reporting.
  • Preparation and maintenance sales plans for field sales organization.
  • Coordinates and completes month-end close entries and activities related to sales, sales analysis, and selling expenses.
  • Responsible for monthly analysis of the field sales organization performance and the overall company selling expense performance, including the sales management and sales support functions.
  • Finance point-of-contact for sales representatives and sales management team.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual financial budget and monthly forecasting for sales and selling expenses.
  • Preparation of quarterly sales incentive calculations, quarterly sales performance appraisals, annual awards and ad hoc contests.
  • Assist Sales Management with requested ad hoc financial and operational analysis.
  • Perform internal control review and documentation of various financial processes as part of maintaining corporate-wide Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.

 Additional Duties and Responsibilities    

  •  Performs other projects or miscellaneous duties as requested or assigned.
  • Builds technical knowledge, and helps evaluate reporting metrics, tools, and techniques


  • Bachelor’s degree with accounting or finance concentration or equivalent experience
  • CPA preferred


  • 2 to 5 years performing accounting and financial analysis with 1 to 3 years public accounting experience preferred

 Other (knowledge, skills, and abilities)

  • Microsoft Excel proficiency required (including vlookups, pivot tables, etc)
  • Microsoft Access preferred but not required
  • Lawson experience preferred but not required
