Job Description

The Sales Development Professional is a dynamic member of the sales team, responsible for selling Lifetouch National School Studios products, programs, and services in a B2B model to Schools across the United States, from a remote location. This position will reach business goals by connecting with potential customers through lead generation and prospecting via telephone, social media, email and/or webcasts to generate interest and explain processes, products, and benefits to potential customers.


  • Make outbound prospect sales calls to schools to begin sales process and pipeline.
  • Identify decision makers within targeted leads and start the relationship building process.
  • Collaborate with Field sales and Inside Sales Manager to determine necessary strategic approach.
  • Qualify leads for assigned Sales Professionals and complete appointment setting.
  • Collaborate and communicate with Service Center sales support teams and territories to optimize the schedule and profitability.
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers and close sales.
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, commissions, and discuss execution and collection process, prepare sales agreements.
  • Once closed, finalize pipeline in company account management system.
  • Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the Account Management System.
  • Appropriately communicate brand identity, value, and corporate commitment to excellence.

  • College degree preferred.


  • Minimum 1 year B2B sales experience, preferably in a telephone sales environment.
  • Proven experience achieving success through meeting daily sales goals.


  • Ability to be pleasantly persistent to persuade and convince in a professional manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Computer proficiency including strong skills with MSExcel, Google, and ability to learn other business systems
  • Self-motivated with ability to establish, organize and work plan to achieve goals
  • Ability to multi-task and work between multiple systems.
  • Ability to work closely and effectively with a team in order to attain individual as well as team goals.
